Welcome to school Granite Street School! 
Welcome to Granite Street School where students and staff are on a continuous learning journey, where our mission is to build a safe, respectful community and provide an excellent academic foundation for lifelong learning. Granite is a kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school serving over 222 students who score well on state tests and make us proud of their accomplishments.
Granite provides a variety of ongoing activities to support the curriculum. These include Literacy and Math Coach on staff, Math Teams, Book Clubs, and many school-wide reading activities.
 Granite's art, music, and physical education programs enhance the academic program through innovative offerings such as Instrument Lessons, Chorus, Choir Chimes, and the Nutrition Activity Council. Granite's guidance program offers classroom guidance as well as friendship groups. Service Learning is embedded in our curriculum with each grade completing at least one project each year.
Granite Street School has a tradition of excellence. This is largely due to a dedicated administration, staff, and community committed to children.
