Where our mission is to build a safe, respectful community and provide an excellent academic foundation for lifelong learning.
Granite Street School is a K-5 elementary school with approximately 225 students. We offer a rigorous curriculum to our students to assure academic growth for all. Students participate in a core curriculum which includes literacy, math, science and social studies as well as physical education, music and art classes.
Educational supports include Title I, Reading Recovery, Special Education and 504. Staff works in Professional Learning Communities to help staff provide the best programs possible for all students.
Extracurricular activities include Math Team for grades 3-5, Nutritional Council, Instrumental lessons, Band, Chorus and Choir Chimes. |
