It is our mission to make a significant contribution to the general well being, metal and physical capacity, and learning ability of each student and afford them the opportunity to fully participate in the eduation process. This will be achieved by providing students with wholesome, nutritious, and appetizing meals, served in a courteous manner, in a clean and pleasant dining environment.Granite Street School Lunch Time

This mission will be pursued in the most efficient and cost effective means possible, and according to State and National regulatory and policy guidelines.

REMINDER:

Families may apply for free or reduced meal benefits at any time during the school year.
Applications are available at each school and on this site or by calling 723-6439.

If your family is affected by the mill shut down, or another temporary hardship, you may apply for temporary benefits. Complete only one application per family, listing all household members, with an explanation of household income during the shut down and date your income is expected to return to normal.

If you wish to mail the application please send it to: Millinocket School Nutrition, 199 State Street, Millinocket, ME  04462.

Applications will be processed within one week of receipt.
