Visual & Performing Arts
The Stearns High School Performing Arts Department is very active year round. We strive to offer a wide range of performance opportunities to our students in a variety of disciplines through both curricular courses and co-curricular activities.
Curricular courses include: Concert Band, Concert Choir, Music Theory
Co-Curricular Activities include: Fall Musical, Jazz Band , Show Choir, Jazz Combo, One Act Play
The Performing Arts Department often plays host to MMEA and MPA festivals. This year we will be hosting both the MMEA District V Instrumental and Vocal Jazz District Festivals as well as the MMEA State Middle School Instrumental Jazz Festival. |
